Our team completed a comprehensive landscape design and installation project at a residential property in Milford, CT, enhancing the pool area with vibrant new plantings and a full lawn care makeover. Services included custom landscape design, new bed line creation, compost and planting mix installation, planting and transplanting, fertilization, mulching, and a tick control spray as part of an ongoing lawn care program.
- Landscape Design- Custom layout and plant selection to enhance the visual flow and functionality of the poolside area.
- Bed Line Creation- Defined garden beds with clean edges to separate turf from planting areas and add professional polish. Existing turf was removed and disposed of to create a clean slate for new plantings.
- Compost and Planting Mix Installation- Enriched the soil with nutrient-rich organic materials to support strong root development and a healthy soil microbiome.
- Transplanting Existing Plants- Carefully relocated existing plants to new areas of the property to preserve mature specimens and balance the design.
- Plant Installation- Professionally installed a diverse mix of trees, shrubs, perennials, and grasses for seasonal interest and lasting beauty. Plant list is included below.
- Fertilization and Mulching- Applied starter fertilizer to supply long-lasting nutrients to the plants and promote healthy root growth, as well as added premium mulch to retain moisture, reduce rain splash, suppress weeds, and insulate plant roots.
- Lawn Care Program- A six-step annual program designed to create lush, green, weed-free, and pest-resistant turf.
- Tick Control Spray- A perimeter treatment applied around the property to prevent ticks and other disease-carrying pests from invading the outdoor space.
