Backyard Patio, Fire Pit & Sod Installation in Milford, CT
Landscaping Services by Shannon Lawn & Landscaping
Shannon Lawn & Landscaping recently completed a full backyard hardscape and landscape renovation in Milford, Connecticut, featuring a custom patio, fire pit installation, stepping stone walkway, and new sod. This project was designed to improve outdoor flow, functionality, and long-term usability for the homeowners..
Custom Patio & Fire Pit Installation in Milford, CT
The focal point of this renovation is a newly installed backyard patio and fire pit, designed to extend from the home’s deck stairs and create a comfortable space for gathering, entertaining, and relaxing outdoors.
The patio was constructed using
Granite City XL pavers in a multi-piece pattern, finished with a
charcoal border for definition and contrast. A
Serafina fire pit was incorporated into the design to create a natural centerpiece that can be enjoyed throughout multiple seasons. Our experienced hardscape team carefully prepared the site to ensure proper drainage, stability, and long-lasting performance.
Backyard Walkways & Stepping Stone Path Installation
To improve access from the side yard gate to the backyard, we installed a stepping stone walkway set in a natural grass setting. This pathway provides a functional transition through the property while maintaining a clean, natural look that blends seamlessly into the surrounding lawn.
Under-Deck Landscape Cleanup & Stone Installation
As part of the project, the area beneath the deck was refreshed by removing unwanted vegetation and installing a low-maintenance stone surface with defined steel edging. This upgrade helps improve drainage, reduces ongoing maintenance, and creates a cleaner, more usable space beneath the deck.
Sod Installation & Lawn Renovation Services
To complete the backyard renovation, our team performed a
lawn renovation and sod installation, providing the homeowners with an instant, healthy green lawn. We also filled and leveled areas from old septic tanks to ensure smooth grading and a safe, even lawn surface.
